Partenza da Luanda e Cerimonia di congedo dall’Angola
Dopo aver Celebrato la Santa Messa in privato, ed essersi congedato dalla Nunziatura Apostolica, Papa Leone XIV alle ore 8.35 locali si è trasferito in auto all’Aeroporto Internazionale di Luanda per la Cerimonia di congedo dall’Angola.
Al Suo arrivo, il Santo Padre è stato accolto dal Presidente della Repubblica dell’Angola, S.E. João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço. Dopo l’esecuzione degli inni, il passaggio della Guardia d’Onore, il saluto delle rispettive Delegazioni, il Papa è salito a bordo di un ITA A330-900neo ed è partito alle ore 9.19 locali alla volta della Guinea Equatoriale.
L’atterraggio all’Aeroporto internazionale di Malabo è avvenuto alle ore 11:31 locali.
